Don’t you wish sometimes you could be a water creature? Everything in that world sparkles, shimmers and flows.
Maybe I should be the mermaid …
maybe the water horse …
maybe a gracious dolphin?
Maybe not for all the time but for a day in my life I would love to be one of them. For now I can just dream and paint my dreams. I hope you enjoy my project today called Little Mermaid. It’s painted over three small canvases.
It’s Monika here with my new Lulu Art design team project. But first I have small confession to make … so … If you didn’t realise it yet … I think I am addicted to black and white stripes! Everywhere! Stripy dresses, cardigans, handbags, jewellery (I am on the hunt now for nice big, black and white cushions for my red couch) . This is what I packed for this weekend away 🙂 and when I looked around my art room, most of the girls I painted have stripy tops. Maybe I was a zebra in a previous life?
So just to feed my addiction – here she is – Birdie Princess on the Stripy Hills 🙂
It’s time to break out your Copic Pens girls! Monika has put together this gorgeous journal page using some printable images, copic pens, neocolor II’s, stencils and more. Follow along with the video below to see how it all came together. Check out Monika’s kitty helping her with her project 🙂
Just remember, if you ever create a page inspired by one of our design team, we would love to see it. Please email a photo to firstname.lastname@example.org or post it up on our facebook page.
