Colour Me Positive – Week 27

Welcome to Week 27. This week is all about The One You Love.

couple-260899_960_720

Wouldn’t life be sooooo much easier if everyone had that special someone in their life. Someone whose presence made you feel safe, calm, loved and at peace. Your Solace. Someone that loves every part of you, the good, the bad and the weird. Someone who listens with great interest, supports your dreams, treats you like the most important person in their life, respects you, believes in you, showers you with cuddles and loves being with you. Someone who makes you feel special.

So my friends, this is what I truly wish for you. May you have someone in your life that makes your life brighter. Someone that makes the expression ‘coming home’ be about being with them.

Extra Challenge:

For an extra challenge this week I want you to include a home/house in your work. Try and include images or text that represent all the things you would love to see in the person you love.

For those of you who would like daily or alternative prompts, I have prepared a Daily Journal Prompt List. You can find it in the Facebook Group under Files.

Colour Me Positive – Week 26

Welcome to Week 26. This week is all about Learning New Things.

LearnSomethingNew-LuluArt

When was the last time you learnt something new? What have you always wanted to try, but never made the time to do it?

‘If you keep doing things the same way you always have, you will easily fall into a rut. To feed your creativity, you have to step out and try new things. Satisfy your thirst for something different and reap the rewards. Such as:

Increased confidence – Going out on a limb to try something new takes confidence. Showing yourself that you have what it takes will only make you feel better about yourself. You will surprise yourself and realize the potential you’ve held all along.

Appreciation for yourself – Do you really appreciate yourself for all you do and are capable of doing? Trying a new thing, whether it’s a new look, a new hobby, or a new motto, will help you to appreciate what you’re really made of. Self-love is incredibly important.

Learning a new skill – Many times the thing you’ll be interested in trying involves learning a new skill. You may be afraid of failing, but don’t let that stop you. With practice and persistence, you will gain a cool new skill or hobby to add to your repertoire. It’s a good feeling and a greater asset.

Helps you break out of a rut – A great way to break you out of your mundane routine is to do something you’ve never done before, or try something you’ve never tried. Wake your brain up and tell it that you’re not just here to go through the motions. You’re here for a purpose!

Helps you to see value around you – Sometimes a little bit of perspective is all we might need to gain a great appreciation and sense of value for the things around us. Things like everyday life, time with our kids, friendship, and interacting with new people all seem completely new and revived when you go out on a limb in another area of your life.’

Quoted from www.beliefnet.com
