Hello everyone!
This month I thought I would create something out of my journal for a change. I had noticed some great 8×8″ cradled wood boards that Kylie has in store and thought I would give them a go.
I really love working on such a smooth surface! Quite different from a canvas, I enjoy how sturdy and versatile the working area is. It takes collage and pencil work very well and really does just leave it up to your imagination as to what you can create.
I also wanted to try out the beautiful Darkroom Door – 9×12 butterflies stencil.
These come in 2 different sizes (4.5×6″ & 9×12″) but I really loved the size of this large one. I can see this one being used quite a bit as I explore the positive & negative spaces that the stencil/mask combination allows.
So, along with some collage fodder… off I adventured!
Enjoy watching the video!
Hope you give this journal page a try.

Enjoy!!
