Welcome to week 22 and the start of Winter (in Australia). This week is all about CREATIVITY.
Imagine how freeing it would be if we weren’t so judgemental on our own work? Imagine if your only role was to participate in creativity and the end result didn’t matter at all. Imagine if there was no pressure at all and there was no way you could make a mistake. What or how would you create? How would this feel?
For an extra challenge this week I want you to experiment, take risks, break the rules and have fun with your journal page.
Create as if none else will see the end result, as if the final outcome does not matter, as if your muse is in control and you are only there as a vessel to aid in this work. Follow your intuition. Don’t think. Just play. Most importantly, have fun.
Remember: There is no such things as mistakes in creativity. Only happy accidents that force you to take a different approach. Just go with these moments. Don’t fight them. Much learning happens when you continue on through these happy accidents. Trust the mess and keep going. You may be pleasantly suprised.
For those of you who would like daily or alternative prompts, I have prepared a Daily Journal Prompt List. You can find it in the Facebook Group under Files.
