Hi everyone, rockmelon recycled here. Every day is a great day to create. Todays tutorial is exploring stamping, stencils and finger painting. We are never too old to finger paint, and it’s fast becoming one of my favourite techniques. This tutorial is suitable for beginners through to advanced artists, so grab an apron and some paints.
Supplies List
Canvas approx 12 x 12 (I used a recycled canvas from an op shop)
‘Courageous Creativity’ printable
Mod Podge (I use a matte finish)
Dylusions Paint: black marble, crushed grape, bubblgum pink, vibrant turquoise, fresh lime, London blue, lemon zest, white linen.
Stencils: I am an artist, and inspired words
Stamp: Donna Poppy
Paintbrush for stencilling
Palette (I use an old china side plate)
Small piece of thick card for spreading paint
Hairdryer
Watch the tutorial here, and remember that art is about playing, exploring and having fun.
Cheers,
Rochelle aka rockmelon recycled
And don’t let you inner critic tell you that you can’t paint, go right ahead, it will be silenced when you begin to paint. Have a great week everybody!
