Welcome to week 13.
Do you put your own happiness in the hands of others? Do you let the mood of others bring you down? Everyone is not happy 100% of the time and sometimes this unhappiness can certainly effect everyone around you.
This quote to me, means bringing your own happy state with you, no matter what state others are in around you. I feel it’s about not letting others drag you into their less than happy world or less than happy moment.
I know first hand how hard it is to remain upbeat and smiley when a strong, negative, unhappy force enters the room, especially if it is a regular occurance. It can be very tiring. But it all comes down to choice and working hard to stay strong in your choice.
Try not to let the negativity or unhappiness of others rub off on to you. Otherwise, make better choices in regards to who you surround yourself with, if possible.
May your sunshine always shine. xo
