Welcome to Week 8.
I guess I see this quote being about PERSEVERANCE. Do you find that you appreciate things more if you’ve had to work harder for them? Often this is true.
My first thought is of pregnancy and birth. Going nine long months, with a little human growing inside you. ‘The climb’, being the journey of pregnancy and it’s effects you. Nine months of putting on weight, aching body, pains in places you never new existed, sleepless nights, being uncomfortable, changing hormones, hands and feet swelling, morning sickness, etc, etc. With me I hap lots of hip pain, as well as hand and wrist pain due to a condition that developed while I was pregnant, where I had to wear a brace to bed to keep my hand in a certain position to stop the pain.
Then the long awaited day of the birth arrives. To meet you child for the first time is my ‘the best view’.
There are many other examples that relate to this quote. What do you think of first when you read this quote?
