Welcome to week 4. Week 4 is all about HOW WE TREAT OTHERS.
Everyone has something to offer us. We can learn something from everyone, no matter who they are, where they come from, their age, gender, religion, financial status, abilities, disabilities, beliefs, values, marital status, occupation, etc, etc.
We even learn from our children. If you are a parent, how many things have your learnt about yourself due to your children? Do you remember when they start a conversation with ‘Mum, did you know……..’ or ‘Dad, did you know…….’ and you reply may have been ‘No, I didn’t know that…….’.
Life’s journey is different for all of us. We all have had different life experiences and are unique, therefore it makes sense that what we know and what we can offer is different. Don’t right anyone off. Not the homeless person you may pass on your way to work, the cleaning lady in your building, the street workers on the corners late at night, the hoodlums in town, the business men and women hurrying to work, while on their mobile phones, seemingly oblivious to anyone around them, the young pregnant Mum smoking, while waiting for the bus, the rude shop assistant…………the list goes on.
Often the light in others is obvious when you first meet them. It shines through their eyes and can be seen in their smile. Sometimes you may have to dig a little deeper to see this light, but it’s there.
There is something wonderful inside everyone of us and if you did deep enough you may just find it and learn something new.
If you have any suggestions on how you would like to see this challenge develop, please don’t hesitate to let me know either by commenting on this post or emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those of you who would like daily or alternative prompts, I have prepared a Daily Journal Prompt List for January. You can find it in the Facebook Group under Files.

This weeks prize is a surprise pack of goodies, for the lucky winner.

Entry is open to everyone who participates, no matter where in the world you are. It’s not a game of skill, you won’t be judged on your artwork. It will be a random draw.

Lulu Art News:
I am back from my annual camping trip with my family and am keen for normality to set in next week when my hubby goes back to work and the kids go back to school, so I can finally get my teeth stuck into Lulu Art and the Colour Me Positive Challenge.
For those of you wondering about the Design Team, I’m yet to finalise the details and contact all the applicants. I wanted to have this done in early January, but have not had the time due to various happenings.
Some New Arrivals
If you have any suggestions on products that would be a great addition to the store, please let me know, either by commenting on this post or emailing me at email@example.com. I’m wanting to slowly expand the variety of stock on the shelves. Thank you so very much.
