Colour Me Positive – Week 43

cmp_banner_wk43

Today’s quote is all about chasing your DREAMS. I’m pretty sure we all have them. We might be sitting on the couch in our PJ’s but we can still think about our big scary dreams. But instead of just thinking about them we need to start chasing them, to stalk them in fact!

Of course those old fears pop straight up .. people will think I’m crazy .. I’m too old/young .. I’m not smart enough .. I don’t have enough money! We’ve heard them all before. So we put our dream off and relegate it to the elusive “someday”. Well that day is today!

Life is short, make the most of it. Start today. Do whatever you can with what you have right now. It might take years to achieve that goal but if you don’t start it now those years are going to go past anyway so don’t waste them. Make them count. Get excited! Move a little more towards that goal every day.

What can you do today to get started?

Week 43 Prize:

For this week’s challenge prize we have a selection of vintage book and music paper to use in your collage pages! We will draw a random name on Friday 4th November from those who have uploaded into the Week 43 folder by that date. So you have two weeks to complete the challenge.

Entry is open to everyone who participates, no matter where in the world you are. It’s not a game of skill, you won’t be judged on your artwork. It will be a random draw. So have fun, upload your photo and you may get a lovely bonus!

Winner of Week 40 & Week 41 Draw:

Now it’s time to draw a name from the photos loaded up in both the Week 40 & Week 41 photo albums. Today’s lucky Week 40 winner is Sue Wheeler and our Week 41 winner is Christie Juhasz. Congratulations ladies!

Make sure you check out the photos in the Facebook albums. There is some amazing work in there. What a great place for inspiration. Make sure you leave a few comments while you are there.

Please remember:

It’s ok to skip a week and jump in wherever you can. Don’t feel pressured if life gets busy!

Don’t compare yourself to others. We’re all in different stages of our art journey. You’re an artist and you’re amazing no matter what level you’re at. Just have fun and keep going.

Please PM or email me if you have an urgent question as I’m more likely to see it. The facebook page moves so fast it’s so easy to miss comments.

Have fun, be happy and support one another!
