This weeks prompt is all about the power of laughter and how we should include some in our daily life!
Everyone enjoys a good laugh. It creates a space to set aside things that are bothering us. It can lift us above our burdens and awaken us to new possibilities and frankly it’s just fun!
Living in a world of laughter opens one’s life to a world of joy. Joy is a wonderful quality that is inherently creative and productive. And, when we’re productive we’re doing positive things with our lives. Isn’t that reason enough for laughing more?
Never dismiss the power of a good laugh. It instantly puts us in a good mood. Find a good funny movie to watch or a comedy show or just simply have a good belly laugh with your friends.
I wanted to also include a link to this great TED talk by Steve Mazan about the power of laughter. His stories will be sure to make you grin and possibly laugh out loud 🙂
Week 44 Prize:
For this week’s challenge prize we have another selection of vintage book and music paper to use in your collage pages! We will draw a random name on Friday 11th November from those who have uploaded into the Week 44 folder by that date. So you have two weeks to complete the challenge.
Entry is open to everyone who participates, no matter where in the world you are. It’s not a game of skill, you won’t be judged on your artwork. It will be a random draw. So have fun, upload your photo and you may get a lovely bonus!
Winner of Week 42 Draw:
Now it’s time to draw a name from the photos loaded up in both the Week 42 photo albums. Today’s lucky winner is Jenni Hudswell. Congratulations!
Make sure you check out the photos in the Facebook albums. There is some amazing work in there. What a great place for inspiration. Make sure you leave a few comments while you are there.
It’s ok to skip a week and jump in wherever you can. Don’t feel pressured if life gets busy!
Don’t compare yourself to others. We’re all in different stages of our art journey. You’re an artist and you’re amazing no matter what level you’re at. Just have fun and keep going.
Please PM or email me if you have an urgent question as I’m more likely to see it. The facebook page moves so fast it’s so easy to miss comments.
Have fun, be happy and support one another!
