This weeks quote is reminding us that our FUTURE is bright! Really, there is no reason our future can’t be bright especially if we start seeing it as that right now!
Feeling fear and anxiety toward our future comes from neglecting our present and holding onto our past—so in order to enjoy our future, we must start enjoying our present. Right now! There is so much to celebrate. Look for the good in everything. Be grateful for things and people around you. There is always something to feel grateful about even if it’s something small. Start there.
Be happy now. Don’t let anyone or anything dim your inner light.
This is another quote that I love that I felt was relevant this week. “Accept, then act. Whatever the present moment contains, embrace it as if you had chosen it. This will miraculously change your whole life.” ~Eckhart Tolle
Our future is completely open and we’re writing it moment by moment. What will you write?
I have to admit this weeks quote keeps reminding me of this catchy song from the 80’s haha – Future So Bright by Timbuk 3
The picture on the right is a canvas on my wall that I created in a class with the lovely Denise Daffara. I look at this often as a reminder that my future is bright!
Week 40 Prize:
For this week’s challenge prize we have a selection of stencils by The Crafter’s Workshop! We will draw a random name on Friday 14th October from those who have uploaded into the Week 40 folder by that date. So you have two weeks to complete the challenge.
Entry is open to everyone who participates, no matter where in the world you are. It’s not a game of skill, you won’t be judged on your artwork. It will be a random draw. So have fun, upload your photo and you may get a lovely bonus!
Winner of Week 38 Draw:
Now it’s time to draw a name from the photos loaded up into the Week 38 photo album. Today’s lucky winner is Nancy Lefko. Congratulations! Here is the page that Nancy created.
Make sure you check out the photos in the Facebook albums. There is some amazing work in there. What a great place for inspiration. Make sure you leave a few comments while you are there.
It’s ok to skip a week and jump in wherever you can. Don’t feel pressured if life gets busy!
Don’t compare yourself to others. We’re all in different stages of our art journey. You’re an artist and you’re amazing no matter what level you’re at. Just have fun and keep going.
Please PM or email me if you have an urgent question as I’m more likely to see it. The facebook page moves so fast it’s so easy to miss comments.
Have fun, be happy and support one another!
