Today is a brief post. Life has been very busy lately but full of wonderful people and experiences. I am very blessed and grateful for my life. I’m also excited about the possibilities that each new day can bring.
Anthony Robbins once said “What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.” Those beliefs are often based on what society sees as normal or conventional. But why do we need to be part of the masses?
Let’s be brave and move away from the expectations of normal and allow ourselves to be extraordinary instead. Start dreaming but learn and take action, stretch your comfort zones, embrace opportunities, have authentic loving relationships with those around you, and live with passion, enthusiasm and gratitude. Be extraordinary.
Week 33 Prize Draw:
This week’s draw is a mystery prize donated by me. I will be donating an item which will find the perfect home with someone who needs it. It’s funny how almost every time I have written to that weeks lucky draw winner they have said how special it was that they won because they had had a particularly challenging week. The universe is awesome like that!
We will draw a random name on Friday 26th August from those who have uploaded into the Week 33 folder by that date. So you have two weeks to complete the challenge.
Entry is open to everyone who participates, no matter where in the world you are. It’s not a game of skill, you won’t be judged on your artwork. It will be a random draw. So have fun, upload your photo and you may get a lovely bonus!
Winner of Week 31 Draw:
Now it’s time to draw a name from the photos loaded up into the Week 31 photo album. Today’s lucky winner is Jo Mackriell. Congratulations Jo! Here is the page that Jo created.
Make sure you check out the photos in the Facebook albums. There is some amazing work in there. What a great place for inspiration. Make sure you leave a few comments while you are there.
It’s ok to skip a week and jump in wherever you can. Don’t feel pressured if life gets busy!
Don’t compare yourself to others. We’re all in different stages of our art journey. You’re an artist and you’re amazing no matter what level you’re at. Just have fun and keep going.
Please PM or email me if you have an urgent question as I’m more likely to see it. The facebook page moves so fast it’s so easy to miss comments.
Have fun, be happy and support one another!
