This is our reminder to you that you are .. ENOUGH, loved, awesome! Keep reminding that little gorgeous child inside of you all of these things as often as possible.

Our extra (optional) journal prompt is:

Choose a positive word to describe your beautiful self!

This weeks inspiration:

This page in Anita’s Life Journal is ready to add lots of details about her week … her positive mantra for the week is “I AM Enough”.

I love this layout in Anita’s Life Journal. What a great way to prepare for the week with a positive mindset. Thank you Anita!

Our Feature Artist – Anita Tillman

I’m so pleased to introduce you to Anita. She has been teaching Life Journal classes in our workshop here and we love her!!  Our students spend a fabulous weekend with Anita creating an amazing journal for recording their daily lives. She is so generous with information and a wonderful teacher. If you’re able to get to our workshop here on the Sunshine Coast, Qld then this class should definitely be on your radar!

Tell us a little bit about yourself …

I started out as a keen scrapbooker about 10years ago and quickly moved to mixed media. I am totally in love with my own form of art journalling (which I call ‘Life Journalling’) which is kind of a fun mix of junk journalling, project life, smash booking, scrapbooking and mixed media. I also have my own Etsy store selling my hand sewn art journal covers, planner pouches and pencil pouches! I have recently started teaching Life Journalling at Lulu Art and totally love sharing my passion for art and memory keeping with as many people as possible!

What is your favourite quote?

“Comparison is the thief of joy.” – Theodore Roosevelt

What inspires you?

Daily life totally inspires me… I pretty much want to stuff as many experiences as I can into my journal!

AnitaPrizeWeek 25 Prize Draw:

For this weeks prize drawing Anita has generously donated one of her gorgeous fabric journal covers with a handmade tassel charm.

We will draw a random name on Friday 1st July from those who have uploaded into the Week 25 folder by that date. So you have two weeks to complete the challenge.

Entry is open to everyone who participates, no matter where in the world you are. It’s not a game of skill, you won’t be judged on your artwork. It will be a random draw. So have fun, upload your photo and you may get a lovely bonus!

Week23_WinnerWinner of Week 23 Draw:

Now it’s time to draw a name from the photos loaded up into the Week 23 photo album. Today’s lucky winner is Michelle Lykokapis‎. Congratulations Michelle! Here is the page that Michelle created using her ‘Positively Zen’ colouring in book by Hinkler Books and her Derwent pencils.

Make sure you check out the photos in the Facebook albums. There is some amazing work in there. What a great place for inspiration. Make sure you leave a few comments while you are there.

Please remember:

It’s ok to skip a week and jump in wherever you can. Don’t feel pressured if life gets busy!

Don’t compare yourself to others. We’re all in different stages of our art journey. You’re an artist and you’re amazing no matter what level you’re at. Just have fun and keep going.

Please PM or email me if you have an urgent question as I’m more likely to see it. The facebook page moves so fast it’s so easy to miss comments.

Have fun, be happy and support one another!

      1. Mary, I think Magny is talking about our feature artist from Week 25, Anita and her lovely Life Books that she makes. Her comment was under yours on that week so you possibly got a notification. I know that can be a bit confusing. Glad you’re loving the inspiration. ~ Lisa
