Today’s quote was inspired by Chrissy Foreman Cranitch (see more about Chrissy below) and is about trusting our INTUITION.
Our intuition wants to guide and support us but we need to remember to listen and trust what it has to say. That intuitive voice can be a strong one but it often needs a quiet and calm environment before you can hear it. When things are troubling you or there are big exciting decisions to be made .. can you slip away to a quiet place? Sit calmly and listen to what your heart, mind and gut are telling you.
Don’t ignore your feelings or push them away. Be honest with yourself and acknowledge the feelings, they are trying to guide you. Listen to them.

Our extra (optional) journal prompt is:
Use an animal somewhere on your page.
If you need a reminder how the challenge works go have another look at the Intro page.

Firstly we have this lovely canvas by Monika Dabrowska-Ejmont from Green Kitten Art.

For a special treat today we have an Intuitive reading and meditation video by our wonderful feature artist Chrissy Foreman Cranitch. The beautiful cards you see Chrissy use are available in her store and she is also kindly donating a deck for this weeks prize!

Tell us a bit about yourself …
Hello, I’m Chrissy Foreman Cranitch, an Intuitive Artist, Teacher and Proud Mumma of Max Bear.
Many moons ago, I prided myself as a bohemian, time-rich, free-spirited Artist. All this took a BIG sidestep while I struggled to adjust to Motherhood and raising a child in 2011.
As my Life branched outwards, I realised I needed to find ways to come back home to MYSELF. That’s why my Art has transformed from making pretty pictures, into an expression of heartfelt intuitions of a Wife, Mumma and Human – even the parts I don’t always get right.
In Art and Life, the more I’ve learned to trust my Intuition, the richer my Art has become … and I’m a better Wife, Mummy and Friend because of it.
What is your favourite inspirational quote?
My favourite quote is …”Trust your intuition.”
What inspires you?
Everyday moments of living. Mindfulness. Kindness. Nature. The love of my family.

Chrissy has very generously donated a set of her gorgeous Intuitive Wisdom cards.
We will draw a random name on Friday 25th March from those who have uploaded into the Week 11 folder by that date. So you have two weeks to complete the challenge.
Entry is open to everyone who participates, no matter where in the world you are. It’s not a game of skill, you won’t be judged on your artwork. It will be a random draw.
Now it’s time to draw a name from the photos loaded up into the Week 9 photo album. Today’s lucky winner is … Carol Van Gerve. Congratulations Carol. This is the page that Carol created about playing like a child.
Please remember:
It’s ok to skip a week and jump in wherever you can. Don’t feel pressured if life gets busy!
Don’t compare yourself to others. We’re all in different stages of our art journey. You’re an artist and you’re amazing no matter what level you’re at. Just have fun and keep going.
Please PM or email me if you have an urgent question as I’m more likely to see it. The facebook page moves so fast it’s so easy to miss comments.
Have fun, be happy and support one another!

So very nice to meet you, Chrissy! Your art is amazing! Sigh, no animal has come to me . . but I will keep trying. I do have a very soft spot for all animals and I think that may be the reason why I’ve had a difficult time connecting with just one (I’ve been trying this for awhile now). I will come back to listen to your meditation again!!! xoxo Marsha

Hi Marsha, thank you so much! I am an animal lover too and at any time, I could have many!
I just had a vision of a beautiful page filed with many animals for you.
I wonder how this sits?
Sometimes when I feel stuck, I find a magazine and just go with the first image I feel connected to – know there are many more Artworks within for the future!
The work of Josephone Wall is very inspiring, she incorporates many animals in her work. http://www.josephinewall.co.uk/art_gallery.html
Happy creating! Love Chrissy x

The animal that always comes to me is a Falcon . More precisely The American Kestrel. It’s been my guide for over 20 years now. I also found it interesting that in my meditation my room would not go white but a swirls of blues flowing about the room and the door was blue with a hummingbird handle. Need to think on that a bit. Thanks for sharing this process with us.

Hello Chrissy, Thank you for sharing your beautiful art with us. Each card is a beautiful, intricate universe. Your meditation was a lovely way to start the day. Surprisingly, a big, slow walking elephant came to see me. Now off to create! All the best to you from Montreal, Canada. Talleen

Hi Talleen! I can completely resonate with you here – I often receive elephants and have painted a few of them in recent months.
To me, they symbolise wisdom, loving nurture for family and a present, gentle heart.
Love Chrissy xx
