Dance in the Rain by Robyn Wood

RobynJoin Design Team member Robyn Wood as she explores colour and texture in an art journal page. The project features Derwent Inktense Blocks and Pencils and makes use of their deep pigments and innovative watercolour properties.

Did you know that once applied, the blocks are able to be activated with a wet paintbrush but then become permanent once dry? This allows you to layer colour without any mixing of colours. Perfect for art journaling!

Hope you enjoy Robyn’s project.  We’ll post again on the weekend with a Christmas craft project from Monika.

Wish List by Anne Cahill

Anne CahillOMG, It’s nearly Christmas time!!  It’s time to think about some Christmas projects and Anne has got the jump on it with this gorgeous Wish List in her art journal.  How cute is this?!

Anne said that It is always about this time of year she starts dropping hints of what her hubby should buy her for Christmas. All he has to do is read the list!

Hope you enjoy this lovely project and don’t forget to watch the video to see the process.

Mermaid Canvas by Cassandra Bright

CassOur team has been doing a lot of work in their art journals lately but this month Cassandra is sharing with us a lovely Mermaid painting on a large canvas.  She’s done a fabulous job!  Lot’s of great ideas in here on using a large variety of products and techniques.

If you are inspired by any of our design team videos, we would love to see what you’ve made.  Email me through a photo so I can share on our facebook page.  If we get a few coming through then I might set up a Flickr page where you can all share your work.

Don’t forget to watch the video below to see how Cassandra made this lovely piece of art.
